Brief discussion of Sheila Jacobs Godwin, an established artist who lives on Moss Neck Road two miles northeast of Pembroke. Godwin describes the eight weeks of work during which she created a commissioned oil painting which was auctioned at the annual "Strike at the Wind!" fundraising dinner. She is an art teacher at South Robeson High School and has two works housed in Duke University's Museum of Art.
