The Board of Directors of Strike at the Wind! announced last week that the play will not be performed this summer, which would have been its 25th season.  The Board's decision was based on lack of funds.  The organization currently has only $500, but the Board estimates it would need $50,000-$60,000 to pay the play's cast and crew and fund the many repairs needed on the Adolph Lorenz Dial Amphitheatre.  The play was not performed in 1997 and 1998, also due to lack of money.  This summer will be devoted to fundraising so that the play can be performed next summer.
