Brief mention, pages 456-457. See Gardner's introduction to her interview with Joyzelle Godfrey (social granddaughter of Ellia Deloria; she catalogued and copied Deloria's papers for the Dakota Indian Foundation in Chamberlain, South Dakota, and is working on scholarly projects involving them).  The introduction explains how Gardner surmised that the script of Ella Deloria's pageant about the Lumbee, “Life Story of a People,” might be amoung these papers.  Godfrey found the script and showed it to Gardner in June 1998 (see item DELO001).
Additional subjects: Ella Deloria | “Life Story of a People” (pageant)
