Publication type: Magazine article

This engaging short story describes Native American females waiting for important confrontations in a time long past; the night of the Lumbee routing of the Ku Klux Klan at Maxton Field; and a time in the future. The role of the waiting females in the future is quite different from the roles other two.
Note: Author is Lumbee.
