Friday Distinguished Professor of English at North Carolina State University, has been studying Lumbee language since 1993. He and his research team, which includes Clare Dannenberg and Natalie Schilling-Estes, have completed a number of projects, including (with Hayes Alan Locklear) A dialect dictionary of Lumbee English (item LOCK001).
