An aggressive recruiting effort is being coordinated by Chancellor Allen Meadors, who would like to see the school's enrollment reach 6,000 students so that it can offer a wider range of programs. UNC-Pembroke, which received some of the UNC System's highest ratings in its senior survey last year, is advertising on radio, cable television, and billboards.
