Brief announcement from Roger Oxendine, chairperson
of UNC-Pembroke's Board of Trustees and chairperson of the Chancellor Search
Committee. Contrary to earlier reports, Oxendine states that there are
Native Americans among the twelve finalists. The twelve will be interviewed
by the search committee; then, four or five will be brought to campus.
