sixteen campuses will handle the “baby boomlet,” which is an
expected 31% increase in enrollment by 2008. Eva Klein, a consultant hired
by the System, recommends doubling the enrollment of UNC-Pembroke (to
at least 6,000 students) in the next ten years.
