Commends Melissa Oxendine, third-grade teacher and technology coordinator at Union Chapel Elementary School, who has received National Board Certification.  She is the first Robeson County teacher to attain this status, which would enable her to teach in any other state and gives her a 12% salary increase each year for ten years.
