Robeson County's Board of Health recommended that the county enact 
zoning regulations regarding the location of future hog farms. 
The county's commissioners rejected the proposal, saying it would 
be too restrictive for farmers. If it had passed, Robeson County 
would have joined Randolph as the only counties in North Carolina 
to regulate the location of hog farms.
