Publication type: Newspaper article Discusses a meeting of over 100 health care professionals representing nine Southeastern counties who heard presentations on UNCP's Healthy Start program. The program, funded by a three-year, $660,000 federal grant, hopes to reduce infant mortality in the region by building a consortium of health care providers. There are 100 Healthy Start programs nationwide.
