Notes that North Carolina has allocated over $4.7 million, through North Carolina Comprehensive School Reform Implementation Grants, to low-performing and at-risk schools.  Over $81 million will go to fourteen schools in the Robeson County system.  Each school must prepare a School Improvement Plan and get it approved by the Superintendent, School Board, and State Board of Education before receiving the funds.
