Discusses the document, Robeson 2005: Planning for the Future, a study conducted with help from the state's Division of Community assistance. The five task forces for the study had a total of 75 members, and information was gathered from detailed questionnaires completed by 80 people. This study, unlike the 1991 report which profiled the state's 10 most economically disadvantaged areas, includes goals, strategies for meeting them, and deadline dates. The study has been endorsed by some agencies and municipalities but not by others.
