Publication type: Newspaper article

This brief editorial applauds the fact that construction will almost certainly begin next year on a 10-foot-wide concrete trail along the Lumber River, going through Lumberton from the bridge on West Fifth Street northwest to Interstate 95. There will be picnic tables and benches for walkers and canoeists. The Department of Transportation will pay $323,000; the City of Lumberton, $86,000.
