Surveyed 102 miles of the river– from the South Carolina border to State Road 1412, above Wagram. Survey reports were completed for twelve sites, listing plant communities and species and—on a casual basis—noting animal species. Ranks the sites by importance as natural communities. Ash submitted another report for Year II (1991) on 11 May 1992; it focused on eight sites.
