Photographer Doris Ulmann visited Pembroke and Elrod, “seeking out and getting pictures of Indians representative of the race.” Gives names of some individuals photographed. The Ulmann Archives, U. of Oregon Library, has over 100 photographs of Indians, but they are not identified by tribe or location (from correspondence).
