Adolph Dial, Tar Heel of the Week, has a national reputation as a spokesperson for his people.  He taught for 30 years at PSU, coauthored The Only Land I Know, built two shopping centers, served on the American Indian Policy Review Commission, helped start the Lumbee Bank, and more.
