legend in auto racing and auto racing promotion throughout Hampton Roads.”
Hankins also ran Hank's Body & Fender Works at 42nd and Colley
Avenue in Norfolk. Hankins raced a Funny Car dragster named “The
Trader” in the Carolinas during the 1960s.
