This table gives 2000 census results, compared
to 1990 figures, for American Indian/Alaska Native population for each
county in North Carolina. For people who identified themselves as
Native American—either alone or in combination with some other status—Robeson
County’s Native American population increased 18.7% between 1990
and 2000. The county’s Native American population in 2000 was 46,896.
