Publication type: Newspaper article

The 360-member Tuscarora Nation has been awarded a grant of $143,514 from the Administration for Native Americans. Over a three-year period, the grant will enable the tribe to finish renovations on their museum and longhouse. Planning on the village began in 1986. The tribe hopes the village will eventually include a campground, pond, catering kitchen, and stage. They also hope the village will provide jobs.
