The Lumbee will be one of the host tribes for
the National Congress of American Indians (NCAI) convention at Myrtle Beach,
S.C. The tribe will help fund the cultural celebration and pow-wow,
which includes a free barbecue dinner. Representatives from over
200 tribes are expected to attend. The Lumbee have been a member
of NCAI since 1980.
