Using primary sources, traces ten Lumbee surnames from 1790 back to their origins with one or more Indian tribes.  For each surname (Braveboy, Brooks, Chavis, Cumbo, Kersey, Lockleer, Lowry, Oxendine, Ransom, and Revels), gives a list of references.
