Revels, now 27. Revels, who won the 2002 Miss North Carolina
Pageant. Revels resigned her post after an ex-boyfriend, Tosh
Welch, e-mailed the Miss America organization that he had topless
photographs of her and would make them public. Revels sued Welch
and won $11,000 in damages.
Revels is now working in public relations for
the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina. She has signed with a modeling
agency in Atlanta and will soon move there. She has also been
involved in other activities, including music (she has self-produced
a min-album and is currently working with a music producer in
Nashville); coaching girls for pageants, judging pageants, and
some public appearances. She has litigation pending against
the Miss North Carolina organization.
